Each is fully furnished with hardwood floors, top of the line bedding, tropical island-style decor, a complete kitchen, washer/dryer, and everything you can think of to make your stay heavenly (from all the great videos you've been meaning to watch to an excellent CD library). Close enough to activities, restaurants, and shopping, yet far enough away to feel the peace and quiet of a Hawaii of yesteryears. Hosts Allan and Catherine Rietow, who have lived their entire lives in the islands, can help you plan your stay, give you money-saving tips, and even hand out complimentary masks, snorkels, boogie boards and other beach toys and point you to their favorite beaches. We will always remember our honeymoon in Kauai with fond memories, thanks to your wonderful hospitality. Our time in the Aloha Sunrise Cottage was blissful! We want to move in!! Thank you so much for offering such a welcoming and comfortable home for us while we explored the North island. We have loved our stay here --- all the little luxuries that make it like staying at a good friends home, all your wonderful animals ~ and those that came to hang out in the beautiful gardens --- and of course your warm presence throughout our stay. Many thanks for your kindness for the last 5 days and weeks leading up to my visit. Your cottage truly feels like a home away from home in this slice of heaven. I will never forget this farm --- feeding the horses at dawn, visits from the animals, the sunrise over the mountains --- as well as this island. What a place to find yourself again, heal, and above all have FUN. I am forever grateful for our hospitality. Can’t wait to come back!!! Mahalo-------

What an amazing place! Quiet, peaceful……..great sunrise out the back windows and plenty of green space to walk around. All that plus feline and canine buddies for a week. We’ve seen so much of your island this week and we’ve only scratched the surface. The whole island is special, and your hospitality made it even more so.
