Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us.  We especially enjoyed the details……. the exotic fresh cut flowers in every room, the nostalgic Hawaiian photographs on the walls, the cleanliness overall and the beautifully manicured grounds.  As for Kauai……. I find not the right words to describe it’s wonder.  I wish I spoke Hawaiian.

We had a great time here doing not very much.  Coffee on the lawn with the view of the mountains while we read the paper.  Snorkeling at Anini and Hideways.  Lots of fishies and prescription goggles helped a lot.  Lunch in the shade of the trees ~ we dragged the table and chairs down.  Enjoyed the birds ~ egrets, a warbler with a long tail, mynahs.   The little red birds like the left over steamed rice.  For dinner, we broiled a different kind of fish each day ~ the two local fish markets have quite a variety.  The Foodland in Princeville is well stocked for other items. Loved the cats they made themselves at home.  We had good weather ~ rain at night but mostly dry in the day.

What a fantastic place!!  The North Shore of Kauai was everything we hoped it would be & more.  Hiking the Kalalau Trail is a must.  And if you feel like kayaking, head to the Kalihiwai River.  It was like floating down the Amazon. Thanks so much for the hospitality & beautiful cottage. We will most certainly be back.

With our thanks and appreciation for all you have done to make our stay on Kauai most memorable.  The Waimea Canyon hike was certainly the highlight of our stay.  We also loved the beaches, mountains, magnificent scenery and the tranquility of the Aloha Sunset Cottage. Our last trip here ~ many years ago ~ was all about adventure.  We were  hooked on kayaking, and after doing the Na Pali Coast, we strapped our kayaks on our car & found any spot to put in,  plus hiking & windsurfing.  This trip is about relaxation, restoration & reflection.  And we were lucky to spend a few bliss filled days at this wonderful site ~ in this tasteful, comfy, all-details-for-your-comfort-thought-of, cottage.  Mahalo! This trip is about flowers, trees, birds, sand & water, color, shapes, air & long conversations with all the locals we meet ~ all those wise people who have chosen to live here.  Thank you for providing such an exquisite haven ~ we’ve loved being tucked into our green bower.    We’ll be back.
